Since Sunday’s special BBC broadcast naming Peter Capaldi as the 12th ‘Doctor Who’, much has been made about the actor’s ages when playing Doctor Who.

The ‘ready for business’ look on Dana Bash’s face.  (YOU can pick the “business”.)

Brandi’s Home!!!!

brandiI’m excited!  Six months after the US Women won the World Cup in soccer in ’99, I met Brandi Chastain at a television trade show.  She was promoting a women’s sports show.  At that time I got her to autograph the Sports Illustrated cover which appeared with her on it shortly after the championship.  (I had carted it all the way to Las Vegas)

She was super, and having met a lot of celebrities over the years, they aren’t ALWAYS like that.

My ultimate intention was to get it framed, but it soon disappeared among the boxes and folders and massive amounts of junk that I had accumulated.

Last night, while going through a bag full of concert programs, Brandi re-entered my life!

Welcome home, champ!
